We started The Alpines because we were tired of showing up to ski trips and hiking adventures completely unprepared.
You know the feeling: You finally get that week in the mountains you've been dreaming about, and by day two your legs are toast, your lungs are burning, and you're spending more time on the lodge couch than on the slopes.
Generic gym programs don't cut it. They don't prepare you for the specific demands of skiing all day or hiking with a heavy pack. So we built something that does.
Our programs focus on what actually matters for mountain sports: leg endurance that lasts all day, cardio fitness that handles altitude, core and back strength for carrying gear, and recovery protocols so you can go hard day after day.
Everything is progressive, everything is tracked, and everything is written by humans who actually ski and hike. No AI-generated nonsense. No cookie-cutter templates.
We're a small team of coaches, skiers, hikers, and mountain enthusiasts. Some of us are based in the Alps, some in the Rockies, some in Japan. What we have in common: we'd all rather be outside than in the gym.
Our job is to make sure when you finally get that trip booked, you can actually enjoy it instead of spending the whole time recovering.
The goal is simple:
Get you fit enough that the mountain adventure is the fun part, not the suffering part.
