The Deal

Welcome to The Alpines. By using our service, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, don't use the service. Pretty simple.

The Service

The Alpines provides training programs designed for skiing and hiking fitness. You get access to workouts, progress tracking, and optional coaching through our app and platform.

Your Account

• You must be 18+ to create an account
• You're responsible for keeping your account secure
• Don't share your login credentials
• One account per person
• You're responsible for all activity under your account
• Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access

Health & Safety Disclaimer

Important: Our training programs involve physical exercise. Before starting any fitness program:

• Consult with a healthcare provider, especially if you have existing health conditions
• Start at an appropriate level for your current fitness
• Listen to your body and stop if you experience pain or discomfort
• We're not doctors - this isn't medical advice

You assume all risk for injuries or health issues arising from following our programs. We provide fitness guidance, not medical advice.

Subscription & Payment

• Subscriptions renew automatically until you cancel
• Free trial requires payment method (you won't be charged until trial ends)
• Cancel anytime - no penalties or fees
• Cancellation stops future charges but doesn't refund current period
• We may change pricing with 30 days notice
• Payment failures may result in service suspension
• All sales are final (no refunds except where required by law)

Acceptable Use

Don't:

• Share or resell our content
• Scrape, copy, or redistribute our workouts
• Reverse engineer the app
• Use the service for anything illegal
• Abuse, harass, or spam other users or coaches
• Attempt to access other users' accounts
• Upload malware or malicious code

Intellectual Property

All content, workouts, branding, and code belong to The Alpines. You get a personal, non-transferable license to use it for your own training. You can't reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without permission.

User Content

If you post in community features or share progress:

• You retain ownership of your content
• You grant us license to display, store, and share it as needed to operate the service
• Don't post anything offensive, illegal, or infringing
• We can remove content that violates these terms

Service Availability

We work hard to keep the service running smoothly, but we can't guarantee 100% uptime. The service is provided “as is” without warranties. We may need to perform maintenance, updates, or emergency fixes that temporarily affect availability.

Termination

You can cancel your account anytime through the app settings. We can suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, with or without notice. Upon termination, you lose access to the service and any remaining subscription time.

Limitation of Liability

The Alpines is not liable for any injuries, damages, or losses arising from use of our service. This includes but isn't limited to: physical injury from training, equipment failure, data loss, or service interruptions. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid in the last 12 months.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold The Alpines harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the service or violation of these terms.

Disputes & Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of [Your Jurisdiction]. Any disputes will be resolved through binding arbitration rather than court, except where prohibited by law. You waive the right to participate in class-action lawsuits.

Changes to Terms

We may update these terms. We'll notify you of significant changes via email or in-app notification. Continued use after changes means you accept the new terms.

Entire Agreement

These terms, along with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and The Alpines. If any provision is found unenforceable, the rest remains in effect.
